We did it! The city council resolution has passed – our skatepark is being expanded!

As an association, we have advocated for a place of encounter: a spot where young people, skaters, and everyone who enjoys movement and community can freely develop and come together. Exactly that is now becoming a reality – right where the park already stands today: at the corner of Benzinoring/Ludwigstraße.

For this, the upper parking lots of the location are giving way, and in their place a „Youth Square“. Our previous suggestions for the square:

• Expansion of the skatepark as a concrete park
• Multi-court for basketball and soccer
• calisthenics park

According to the council's decision, a concept is to be drawn up this year. We will stay on it and keep you updated!
